The Holy Trinity Monastery, a monument of religious and cultural heritage, was built in 1650 in the area of ''Katakri'' but due to the rough terrain it was later moved to ''Thougheika''.
The church, with a capacity of 50-60 people, is a three-storey church with a dome and a porch, decorated with many unique Byzantine paintings. The monastery acquired a great fortune because of the many monks who spent their holidays there, but above all because of their hard work.
At the end of the 17th century, the teacher, Leontios Skarma, from Sopoto, founded a school within the monastery where he taught Greek and Latin.
Although many monasteries were dissolved in 1836 by a decision of the Greek state, a few monks remained in Agia Triada, who kept it in a very good condition. After 1850, however, it was deserted and completely decayed, until the Livadzino benefactor Theodoros Tsavliris left all his property to the village, with the condition that a water supply and irrigation network be created so that the monastery could have water. Later, two other great benefactors, Konstantinos Konstantinou and Ioannis Andropoulos, donated large sums of money for the renovation and maintenance of the monastery. In this project we cannot fail to mention the valuable and decisive contribution of the priest, Sotiris Klepetounas.
In 1998, the precious seal of the monastery was found in the Monastery of Iviron on Mount Athos, which is still kept there and reminds us of the glory, the glory and the offer of the Holy Trinity.
Every year, on Pentecost, the monastery is honoured in a pleasant, festive atmosphere and with the participation of the surrounding villages.
