It is a museum located in the central pedestrian street of Kalavrita, with private collections of the teacher-layographer Mr. Leonidas Petropoulos, who will guide you through the area, with special emphasis on knowledge, detail and the valuable dissemination of tradition.
There are two exhibitions in the museum: The first one is about the nomadic farmers of the region (known as Karagounides or Karakatsanides) and the second one is about the town and the wider area of Kalavrita.
The museum hosts traditional costumes, old photographs, embroidery and woven, wooden and bronze utilitarian objects of the past years.
