Kato Vlasia

It only takes ten minutes to reach Kato Vlasia, which is definitely worth a short walk. The view of the village is very picturesque as it has a solid residential core: The little stone houses are built in tiers on the steep slopes of a hill like a fortress on top of which a green tuft of holly and the flags of Agios Vlasios fly. Kato Vlasia is the first village built by the fugitives of Aetoloakarnania, although today it has few permanent residents.

Walking through its narrow streets you can hear your footsteps and in the silence, you can easily admire the beautiful sturdy construction of the houses, the stones in relief in their construction and the earthy colours that dominate the area.

In the background, the roar of Selinounda covers the beautiful village with a humid music.
